I understand what you are laying down here, but i think a relationship that is worth working on usually requires these things. Sacrifice implies a choice: a spouse is diagnosed with cancer (trying wiping someones ass or vomit up and not losing dignity), even being exclusive with someone changes the friendships you have with the opposite gender (unless you are gay, etc.), having a child means you put your dreams on hold, I think Ms. hale is wrong. never? really? The truth is to say that a healthy relationship chooses to sacrifice these things.
